Your videos, logos and text stay on your device

The editor processes the video, logo and text you select locally in your browser. Previewing and MP4 export happen on your device. The editor does not upload your source video, logo, ticker text or exported video to TickerBlend or its hosting provider for processing. We do not provide a cloud video library or server-side video rendering, and we cannot access, review or approve the content you process through the editor.

You choose whether to download an exported video or share it through your device. A destination you choose for sharing handles the content under its own terms and privacy practices. If you separately send us content by email, we receive that correspondence as described below.

Saving your current project in this browser

To let you continue after refreshing the page, the editor automatically saves the current project locally using IndexedDB, a database provided by your browser. This can include a copy of your selected video and its file name, your logo, a preview still image, the text you enter, your selected ticker design, ticker and logo positions, sound-related settings and the ticker-design picker scroll position. The editor reads this local data to restore the project. The saved sound setting applies to both preview playback and exports. When restoring playback, the editor attempts to use that setting. If the browser blocks automatic playback with sound, the editor switches both the preview and subsequent exports to muted. You can turn sound back on using the sound control.

This data is used for restoring your editor, not for advertising or tracking. It is not uploaded to our servers or synchronised with another device, browser or browser profile. A session identifier in sessionStorage associates the saved project with the current tab. We also keep a lightweight draft of your latest text, settings and current screen in sessionStorage to help preserve recent edits while the IndexedDB save finishes. Video and logo files are stored in IndexedDB, not in sessionStorage. Refreshing that tab can restore its project and return to its setup or preview screen. Opening the Service in a fresh tab starts a new project, without restoring a previous tab's content. Browser features that restore or duplicate a tab may also restore or copy its session.

Choosing New video or removing the selected video requests deletion of that tab's saved project. A new project replaces the previous project in that tab rather than adding it to a project library. Closing a tab does not guarantee immediate deletion of its IndexedDB files. On a subsequent visit, the Service removes other saved projects whose last save was more than seven days ago. You can also remove local copies by clearing this site's browser data. These actions do not delete your original files or videos you have already downloaded or shared. Anyone with access to the same device and browser profile may be able to access local data; clear it after use on a shared device.

Local saving and restoration depend on browser support, available storage and browser settings. A browser may remove stored data, and private-browsing sessions may discard it when they end. This feature is not a backup service: keep your original files and save any finished video you need.

Temporary local export files

Where supported, exports are prepared in private browser storage on your device to reduce memory use. These temporary MP4 files are not uploaded and are separate from the saved project. We attempt to remove them when replaced, cancelled or the page is left. If a browser closes unexpectedly, a temporary file may remain; abandoned exports older than 24 hours are removed on a subsequent visit. Clearing this site's browser data also removes them. Browsers without this storage capability prepare exports in memory.

Hosting, security and analytics

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security services. Delivering and protecting the Service may involve processing technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, requested URLs, response and error information, and security signals. This does not give Cloudflare access to videos or logos selected for local editing.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and website performance where its measurement script is enabled. This product does not use analytics cookies or localStorage and does not fingerprint visitors. It measures page visits and performance, rather than reading your project. We do not send it your videos, logos, ticker text, file names or exported videos. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information. The current Web Analytics product does not provide custom button-event tracking.

Cloudflare describes its handling of information in its Privacy Policy and Web Analytics documentation.

Cookies and other browser storage

We use a first-party preference cookie named TickerBlendConsent to remember whether you accept or reject optional analytics, the choice version and its expiry. It lasts up to 180 days and is shared between tickerblend.com and app.tickerblend.com. It is not used to identify you for advertising or track your project. If your browser blocks this cookie, your choice may apply only to the current page and you may be asked again on another visit. The editor uses sessionStorage for the tab's session identifier and recent draft metadata, IndexedDB for saved projects and, where supported, private browser storage for temporary exports as described above. These local storage features support editing and restoration; they are not used for advertising.

Depending on the protection features enabled and the requests you make, Cloudflare may set security cookies, such as cf_clearance to remember a passed security challenge or __cf_bm for bot protection. These examples describe cookies that may be used, not a statement that every visit receives them. Cloudflare's bot-protection cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity; other security-cookie lifetimes depend on the feature and configuration. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking security cookies or local storage may affect access to the Service or prevent project restoration. Where applicable law requires consent for a storage or measurement feature, that feature must operate subject to the required consent.

The Analytics button in the footer lets you change your choice. If the measurement script has already loaded, turning it off blocks further measurement connections and reloads the page after the editor saves the current project locally. If the preference or project cannot be saved, analytics remains blocked and the page stays open so you can preserve your work before manually reloading. This choice concerns optional browser measurement, not technical processing necessary to deliver and secure the Service.

Email correspondence

If you contact us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, the message, attachments and associated correspondence information. We use this information to respond to enquiries, provide support, handle privacy or rights requests, address disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not send videos, logos or sensitive personal information unless needed for your enquiry.

Our email provider is Proton Mail, operated by Proton AG in Switzerland. Proton provides encrypted mailbox storage. Email exchanged with an external email service is not necessarily end-to-end encrypted; protection also depends on the sender's or recipient's provider and whether an end-to-end encryption method is used. Sending an email to us does not make it inaccessible to our authorised personnel. Further information is available in Proton Mail's Privacy Policy.

No account or registration is required to use the editor. Providing information in an email is voluntary, but we need a way to reply if you request a response, and enough information to handle your request. We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not profile you for advertising.

Purposes and legal bases

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the legal basis depends on the purpose of the processing:

The editor's local saving and temporary export storage serve the editing and restoration functions described above; they are not analytics or advertising storage. The requirements for storing or accessing information on your device are separate from the GDPR legal bases above. We do not treat acceptance of the Terms of use as consent to analytics or other processing that requires consent.

Retention

Locally saved projects remain on your device until replaced, deleted, removed by the browser or cleaned up on a subsequent visit as described above. Temporary export retention is described above. We do not retain editor content on our servers.

We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to address the enquiry, maintain relevant support records, handle disputes and satisfy applicable legal requirements. Technical and security records are retained according to the relevant provider's service settings and the need to deliver, secure and maintain the Service. Cloudflare currently makes Web Analytics reports available for the preceding six months; this reporting window is separate from any security-log retention.

Recipients and international processing

Information may be handled by Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security and analytics, by Proton for email, and by authorised personnel or professional advisers when necessary for support, legal or compliance purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security. We do not grant these providers access to your locally saved project through the editor.

Alomnis sp. z o.o. is based in Poland. Proton AG is based in Switzerland, and Cloudflare operates international infrastructure. Hosting, security, enabled analytics and correspondence may involve personal information being processed in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United States or other countries where the relevant provider operates. This does not mean that your locally edited videos, logos or ticker text are transferred to those providers for processing.

For transfers outside the European Economic Area subject to the GDPR, the permitted mechanism depends on the recipient and destination. A transfer may be covered by an applicable adequacy decision; otherwise, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses are required, unless a specific legal derogation applies. Cloudflare describes its contractual transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, in its Customer Data Processing Addendum. That document does not by itself establish that every transfer by TickerBlend is covered by the same mechanism. Contact [email protected] to ask which mechanism applies to a particular transfer and to request a copy of, or access to, the relevant safeguards, subject to necessary redactions to protect confidential information.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, subject to the conditions for each right, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), or another competent supervisory authority. Other rights may apply under the law of your location. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Email us at [email protected] to exercise a right or ask a privacy question.

We cannot retrieve or remotely delete the project held only in your browser. You can delete that project using the editor controls or your browser's site-data settings as described above. This does not affect your rights concerning correspondence or other information we actually hold.

Children and security

The Service is not directed to children below the age at which they may lawfully use it or consent to relevant processing without parental involvement. We use reasonable security measures, but no service, browser storage or email system can be guaranteed secure. Keep your device and browser profile secure, especially on shared devices.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices or applicable law. The date at the bottom of this document identifies the latest revision; we will provide additional notice where required. Contact Alomnis sp. z o.o. at [email protected] or at the business address stated above.
